Public Holiday Issue, Shld have my claim off
Today than confirm know that deepvali day is today and at that moment i not sure that mon need to report to wrk anot. So on the way walking to wm to celebrate dad bday at sakae sushi, i ask my mum & my cousin about it. The result was a yes, mon is a public holiday. I sms my company co-founder and confirm, she reply no, is for those who work on saturday, i was thinking, if like that is not fair to those non- working on sat. I log in MOM website and search, the result is a yes, it stated, company give extra's pay on upon working on a rest day or give employee a extra day off as a holiday. I sms her the details, as i dun want to talk to her in the phone. So she didnt reply, if she insist on mon report to work, i will take my action upon calling MOM. Don't know why some company dont go by the law, extended working hours..etc. Like friday, i stay late in office, one reasons is assisted to design a lucky draw coupon, tue muz email to clients. The designer is not free to handle the job, so last min thur morning msg me, morning fel... etc. Some company will get for granted .. you stay late mean, they tink you can stay late every day. Last week is a tired week.... got a bit unhappy with this issue.
For mon i will not report to work, is she insist, i will take my action.
This is under employment act.
